A Case of Bonchogenic Cyst Presenting in Presternal Area

Abstract

|
Bronchogenic cyst is a congenital lesion secondary to abnormal budding of the Tracheao-bronchial tree during embryonic stage. So it is pathologically diagnosed when there are bronchial tissue such as smooth muscle, pseudostratified ciliated columnar epithelium, and cartilage. It usually located in lung parenchyme or mediastinum but subcutaneous bronchogenic cyst in presternal area is rare. We report a case of presternal bronchogenic cyst in 43 year-old man.
